That time of the year has rolled around again! It seems to come by sooner each year.

Recently Dr. David Park, founder and director of the Geospatial Research Centre (GRC) talked with the NZCSRSC (in this blog post) about the GRC and its development in NZ. David moved to NZ in 2006 to set up the GRC (a joint venture between The University of Nottingham, The University of Canterbury, Canterbury Development Corporation and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise) and it has since become one of the fastest growing centres in NZ.

Two new members have joined the NZCSRSC 2008 Broadcasting Ministry team under the leadership of Sascha Rehbok. They are Robert Lechte and Yugan Yugaraja. They both completed their Computer Science & Software Engineering degrees at UC this year. Robert is doing contract work over the summer. Yugan, having won a summer scholarship, is also working on a summer research project. Welcome on board guys!
