Best Presentation and Best Poster Awards

Shaoqun Wu and Edmond Zhang were this year's NZCSRSC award recipients. Both awards were presented at the NZCSRSC'08 closing ceremony by University of Canterbury Vice Chancellor Prof. Roy Sharp.
Shaoqun's presentation How to Express Your Feelings (With a Little Help from Google) [PDF] won her the award of NZCSRSC'08 Best Presentation, while Edmond won his NZCSRSC'08 Best Poster Award with his poster Mining Spatially Related Features for Object Recognition [PDF].
Congratulations to both Shaoqun and Edmond for outstanding work, especially amongst the high quality of papers this year.
